Eddie Jaggers, a lifelong resident of Harnett County, has dedicated his life to serving his community. Growing up in the heart of Harnett County, Eddie attended Boone Trail Elementary and graduated from Western Harnett High School. He continued his education at Mount Olive College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice for Professionals.

With a career spanning over three decades, Eddie retired from the Harnett County Sheriff's Office after 30 years of commendable service in law enforcement. His commitment to public safety extended beyond his professional duties as he served as a volunteer fireman and EMT with Boone Trail Emergency Services.

Eddie is a devoted member of Coats Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon, exemplifying his commitment to faith and community. Additionally, he holds an unlimited electrical license and is the Electrical and Sales Manager for a prominent HVAC and electrical contractor.

Eddie's dedication to education is evident through his service on the Harnett County School Board, where he was elected in 2016. He has since served as Vice-Chair and is currently the Chair of the Board, working tirelessly to enhance the educational opportunities for all students in the county.

His leadership extends to the Criminal Justice Information Network Governing Board, where he actively contributes to advancing criminal justice information sharing and technology.

Beyond his professional achievements, Eddie is a private pilot, showcasing his diverse interests and skills. He is married to his beloved wife, Jacqueline, and together they have one son.
